Sweden in September

We just LOVE visiting our good friends, and their little paradise in Sweden. We enjoyed a no-obligation, peace-of-mind, weekend, something we really needed. All we did was eat, drink, hike, sleep, and have deep conversations about life. I will let the photos tell the rest.

September is known to be the month for mushrooms in Sweden. We went out Saturday for 2 hours and came home with way too many Carl Johan mushrooms.

Time to cook what we harvested in the garden, and what the forest could provide. Our dinner that evening was fantastic. Everything was cooked in a woodfired oven outside and tasted fabulous.
